Admittedly I'm used to getting 7k+ miles out of a Metzler Tourance on the back of my GSA but I was a bit shocked to only getting 3200 ,miles out of my XR's Pirelli's.

I had no hesitation whatsoever about putting the same back on though coz they're effing awesome. I've never had a tyre like it and it gives me loads of confidence even in the wet.

Looks like I'll never need those HP Chain adjusters I had put on as the rubber gets changed before the chain needs adjusting. I'll let the tyre fitters do the tensioning!

Most tyre fitters will just put the wheel back on where it is. You can remove and refit a wheel without loosing the axle position and thus chain tension.

Ha ha I've never got more than 1800 mile from a rosso 2.... You must be riding it wrong

3200 miles out of Corsa-II's is awesome.....but I think you meant Rosso-II not Corsa-II...??

I fitted Continental Road Attack 3 tyres which are wearing really well and have great grip. I reckon they will be good for 6k miles.
