Bridgestone T31 Evo’s
« on: July 27, 2018, 07:07:37 PM »
Just ordered replacement tyres for the XR from a company in Herne Bay, MTM is the company, paid over the phone after spotting the tyres on eBay. 190/55/ZR17 & 120/70/ZR17 at £208 delivered :028:
I’ve never tried Bridgestones before but my two best friends both have XR’s with T30 Evo’s fitted and they always get good mileage and grip so I thought I’d give these T31’s a try, I’ve had Pirelli Scorpions on a couple of previous bikes from new and I hated them, I switched to Michelin Pilot Road 4’s first time out, got 9.5k out of the front and 5.5k from the rear, prior to trading my VFR800X Crossrunner in, I’d just fitted Pilot Road 5’s and my initial impression was that they’re amazing but I only did 1k on them, interested to see how the Bridgestones go, I’m off to Europe in 3 weeks time so I’ll update this thread with some feedback once I’ve got done to share :028:
I’d welcome any feedback good or bad on the T31’s

Yeah, I like real world feedback too bud, it just helps to make a more informed decision, I’ll do a few updates as and when I get some proper results :028:
Road 5’s are absolutely epic tyres, I would have loved to do a few more miles on mine but they went along with my VFR when I traded her in for the XR...

I’m still waiting for my £30 cash back on my last set of PR5’s, I can only assume they’ll pay once the promotion has finished.

Oh god I hope so, it’ll go towards the cost of the T31’s  :008:

On another note, where are you in Lancashire then Dobby ? I used to live (for a short while) in Foulridge just up the road from Colne :028:
