Hi from the Scottish Borders

Hi,
I bought my S1000XR in BMW Motorsport colours last Saturday and have done over 500 miles already.
Previous bike was an R1200GS Rallye TE but after 4000 miles chasing my mate's Mrultistrada around Europe, I realised I was thrashing it everywhere as it just wasn't powerful enough to keep up!
Previous bikes include a GSXR1000, R1, Fireblade etc so I am used to four cylinders and loads of power. Bought the GS after having a couple of naked bikes like the Tuono, CB1000R and Ducati Diavel as my wrists and knees couldn't take the pain of sportbikes anymore!
Anyway, called in at my local MOTORRAD dealer for a pair of tyres and they had a XR on demo, so took it for a spin and bought it on the spot!
This thing is a ballistic missile, albeit a very comfortable one, all that I was looking for and what was missing on the GS - gobs of power everywhere and the handling is a scalpel compared the the steak knife of the GS.
Mods so far include Evotech rad guards, Cobra Hypershort end can, tinted Puig screen, small number plate, tail tidy, Givi rack, colour coded belly pan.
Next on the list is a set of HP levers so I can adjust the clutch lever span, and maybe a splash of carbon here and there!
Here's some pictures....

Welcome, how do you find that exhaust? Thinking of getting one of them.

Have the same colors on mine. Awesome!
Where did you get the graphics on the lower fairing?

Really liking the exhaust, have taken one baffle out and it pops and bangs on the over run but still not too loud under acceleration.
I will take the other baffle out soon to see how that sounds.
So far the feedback on how it looks and sounds has been positive, I think it really suits the lines of the bike.
