2018 Rear Power Socket
« on: July 29, 2018, 05:15:27 PM »
The owner's handbook states that there is a rear 12v power socket, does anyone know exactly where it is? I have found a socket held by a cable tie on the left hand side under seat near the seat latch but the female socket is totally different to the can bus connector that I have already and I presume it is a data-logger or similar
Any help appreciated
Adrian

It's an option. Bracket and din socket attach to the subframe around mid point of the seat on the left hand side. Plug is hiding near the front under the seat iirc.

This is the kit you need if you want it. The harness is already on the bike so it's plug and play. Like I said, I think the harness/plug is secured to the loom down in front of the abs unit.  :028:

Thanks for the info, however, I am just looking for the plug as I have a spare can bus connector and simply want to power a usb hub which is used to power cameras. Many thanks

I agree, I simply need the can bus feed to power a twin usb connector that I have
