Bree I'm not moaning  I'm chuffed to bits, just thought it was part of 18k service that this was checked, mechanic says they never have to shim them at this miles

I cannot answer for them on the Plugs, but I would not change mine at 18 thou unless they were a problem. Modern plugs can easily go way past the 18 thou range. I can only think that they have experience that shows the plugs are okay. I do not remove mine to check they are ok. If the bikes running as it should then leave well alone. I can only assume that they run diagnostics and if everything is hunky dory they are happy to leave it alone.    :027: :027:
