I see that BMW now offers as standard a 3 year, unlimited mileage, international warranty with roadside assistance on all new bikes delivered after 1st August. Good news for the new bike.

That makes it worth buying from a dealer for sure. I thought the 2 years with roadside assistance was good but an extra year with unlimited mileage is unreal. I suppose it’s good business sense from BMW too, it means they retain your servicing business indefinitely now too

Its not the dealer, its BMW who warrant the bike

I won't hold my breath on getting any goodwill from BMW. I am sure their answer will be " If you would like a 3 year warranty then buy another brand new bike" losing about £2500 to £3000 in the process

Is this right? So buying the bike in July this year is a 2 year warranty? I'm going to check with my dealer as getting an extra year unlimited miles would be the icing on the cake for me!
