More on soupy suspension links
« on: August 10, 2018, 03:34:29 PM »
Hi all,
I have soupy links & side stand, was already to go for it this weekend. Got a mate, who's son's best man works in my local BM bike dealer (Vines) & was chatting to him on a biker evening bike meet.
I mentioned my lowering plan & he nearly dropped his bacon butty !!! He's telling me that to fit to me SE, it's a dealer only mode in case the elect suspension cops a strop............ don't see that personally + lots on here appear to have done it successfully so 'confused of down south' !
Any feed back gratefully accepted

I didn’t go soupy but cymarc in scunny, similar but he’s a decent engineer and did a great job! Check out the website,

https://www.cymarcbikeparts.co.uk/s1000xr-lowering-kit--fitting-service-204-p.asp

I then went dealer and reset the rear suspension sensor which was a 2 min job. Same side and centre stand.
Have a look  :305:
