Welcome Chicane,
Power loss should not be a concern - neither should power gain. A brand-name slip on exhaust wont give you any noticeable gains or losses - only noise.
Choose the one that looks best to you. That is the only thing that really matters.

You'd be better losing 8 to 10 kilos.
Akrapovic claim 5hp & 7.5nm gains on their headers. I'd be interested to know how MIVV can get more from just a muffler.
The catalytic converter on the XR is the biggest restriction in the exhaust system, so it wouldn't matter if you used a MIVV slip on or a traffic cone - its only gonna make the bike louder and any power gains (if any) almost impossible to feel when riding the bike. Even if you are riding the bike at 100% throttle everywhere.

Yep totally agree with patrick, slip on end can only for sound and most important, Looks. Unless you are doing the whole system, I personally do not think you will gain any significant hp gains.

I went for the Cobra Hyper Shots as I think they suit the bike best!

Wish I could order one of those Cobra miniskirts for my bike here in the US from a dealer here and avoid VAT and shipping from Europe.
