« on: August 15, 2018, 12:03:52 PM »
Hi all,
Has anyone found a Carbon chain guard to fit the XR please ?
Also - any idea if a RR or R chain guard would fit ?
cheers

There is one floating around, but it's matte, not gloss. The R and RR is different, they have a different swingarm, much shorter than the XR.

Power Bronze do one which is a full chain guard, the only other option is the Ilmberger combo of chain guard and hugger which looks very nice(an expensive) but is a bit of a cheat because you only get the front(rear of the bike)half of the chain guard.

Consequently because their is no rear part the Ilmberger actually fits over the top of the original but at least it saves you having to scrap the crap off the carbon, there is a thread on here about taking the chain guard off it comes off through the swing arm sidewards/backwards.

Very happy with it
