Hello I want to introduce myself as new member. I am Emiel and in June I switched from a GS to the XR and I love it! It's the only all-in-one bike for me and I had about 20 bikes before. To make the bike personal i changed something..

Ok first impression:

Modification are:

Special paint blackstorm metallic
Evotech licenseplate holder
Mivv Suono black high exhaust
BMW HP sportseat high (never high enough :-)
Osco chain oiler (manual operated)
Givi radiator protector
Wolo very loud twin horn (to clear the road effectivily)
Removed duo steps and panier rack
Evotech bar end weights
Grip puppies (works nice against vibrations)
Wunderlich screen deflector (works wunderlich :-) With the screen in lowest position and deflector gives the same protection as screen in highest position without deflector

As luggage solution i use the original BMW vario case with on top a Krauser rack. This rack plays an importent rule in the luggage extention i made. To prevent damage on my nice seat I ordered a bicycle front carrier (Basil) and modified it a bit. On this rack i secured a BMW softbag 3 small and this rack hooks on the case rack and is located totally free above the duo seat. See the gallery for some details. Now i have very flexible luggage capacity between 30 and 70 litres.

My XR is a 2016 with all options
