paddock stand bobbins

Hi chaps,

just wondering does anyone know what thread the paddock stand bobbins will take on the xr?... im guessing m8 but could be wrong.. gonna order some on ebay here today so I can clean my reaer wheel properly ...

I just put the old ones from my S1000RR on - so if they fit the RR they fit the XR !  Think its M8.

Mine is a sport mate, doesnt come with centre stand... dealer offered it to me as a discounted extra but I had a bad experience with a centre stand catching ground on my old bandit years ago, it would psyhcologically taint the xr for me in every corner  :008:

I see
I think it would take some doing to ground the stand on this bike but i can see your reasoning and lets be fair 20 quid is cheaper than a centre stand

Mine are at least as far over as that if not further, The Diablo corsa words are disapearing fast and the stand and pegs are still well clear

The tyres are a good job. Well suited to the bike... There's only 300 mile on these so a bit to go yet before the lettering starts vanishing
