Hi everyone. Newbie here from Swindon. Came to the XR from Honda Crosstourer- needed something lighter . This ticks all the boxes.
Tried an r1200rs first but couldn't get on with the boxer engine.
2mins on the xr was all it took to convince me!
Went for the Triple Black - good looking bike. Certainly not the quickest out there! I'm still running it in. Looking forward to some fun though !
Cheers. Andy.

Saw that colour-scheme recently at the local BMW dealer - looks rather tasty.
Seems like the XR started as a slow-seller, but is now a very popular model.
Enjoy the bike, before the really crap weather descends (1C deg this morning when I rode home - I’m now firmly in the “those heated grips are crap” camp
)

Cheers. Only used the heated grips once. Wasn't as cold as Scotland though!

Is it because they're so cheap?

Thanks Jack. I'm still running it in so I'm a little bit slow at the moment
But once I have it serviced I'll give you a shout.
Cheers
