2015 S1000r Folding HP levers.Would they fit an XR?
« on: October 18, 2018, 11:58:53 AM »
I'm just trying to figure out if I can swap the Foldy OE HP levers from 2015 S1000r to an XR.
Anyone know?
I have a suspicion they are different although dealer said they'll fit. (but they are trying to sell me a bike!)

The clutch should fit, the brake will depend on if the r has a radial master cylinder like the rr if it does it won't fit.

Looking at pictures the master cylinder is definitely different. It does not use the integrated reservoir like the XR

I've asked several times direct to Pazzo about making levers for the X/R and still the answer is no but here is a fitment guide that explains all.

I just ordered and had my dealer (Palmbay Florida) install Puig foldable and extendable levers ,approximately $70 each, anodized black and blue (blue perfectly matches the blue Of my Moto sport colors) they look and work great. Also had the dealer cut 1 1/8 inch off of each side of the handle bar and retired the hand guards -Amazing how much cooler the bike is for those hot Florida days

Puig lever's great bit of kit, and work fine with no problems.

the puig levers may stay on the xr, perhaps selling the hp ones may recoupe some of my current expenditure as I get the bike to my liking.
