Soon to be newbie owner from Hampshire

Hi all, I had the opportunity to try my brothers XR SE while in the Spanish Pico's mountains last month and I think the BM has to be the next bike for me. In the meantime I am reading through here and look forward to gaining as much knowledge as possible. Just got to shift my current Tiger 800 and then off to find the best deal.

Definitely go for it.. it’s the only bike I’ve ever owned that has stopped me looking at other bikes.

Thank you all for a warm welcome.
1964Hall - I lived in Bournemouth / Poole for 20 years and love all the roads around Salisbury, I occasionally end up in the cafe at Middle Wallop air museum when blasting down your way. You / we are in a lovely part of the country really, pretty decent roads and nice twisties with easy access to the ferry ports.
Becksy - I've been averaging a bike a year for the last 20 years - not sure why but I always find a reason to change, often buying the previous bike again - the wife would love you to be right as well as me - here's hoping..
Caister..I knew what you meant
