ha ha - if you take the photo at exactly the correct moment as it is powering down you can get the above picture  -  you are right they don't come on together -  I wish they would cos it looks nice  :002:

I have 2 different ones that work with no lamp error. The ones in my picture are from a company that have gone bust and are exactly the same as these ..obviously cannot guarantee they work but they are identical spec as mine and cheap enough to give it a try. the spec is .. 10x 20 SMD LED 501 T10 W5W

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-Pair-T10-20-SMD-LED-Bulb-Light-Car-Light-12V-White-501-V2W7/123250655476?epid=2070768900&hash=item1cb24fc0f4:g:cZEAAOSw2NBbSlSp:rk:3:pf:1&frcectupt=true

The others which look even nicer are from this company - I didn't photo them because they sent me blue instead of white but they definitely work and again there was no lamp error. I have re-ordered the correct colour and will photo them when they turn up. (if they don't light up turn them round they only work one way round).

I went for Diamond white 6SMD 2 pack.

Looks like something from Babylon 5 with all the lights on. Or a raptor.
Nothing wrong with that though.

How do they hold up to the heat from the main H7 bulb.
I got some cheap ones but they can't take the heat from the main bulb. On the US bikes its the one in the high beam that affects the can bus the low beam on doesn't. My cheap ones work fine till you use the high beam.

Got to be honest I don't know is the answer. I haven't used it much due to the cold and salty roads but a couple of quick daytime rides and all is well. No canbus or lamp error on the high beam when I tested it but can't comment on them melting or whatever.  I have just ordered an HID50 kit from ledperf and will be fitting that next week and at the same time ordered their sidelights which they tell me work perfectly together. Again not huge money so I will report back.

Whilst trying 2 different bulbs I manged to drop one inside the headlight so spent half the time fishing around with bluetac and a magnetic extender pick up tool ...lol  :008: Doh !
