Gear peg removal
« on: January 10, 2019, 06:43:43 PM »
Hi all , advice required.  I want to add a longer peg on my gear shifter. Question is, how do I remove the gear peg  from the shifter arm?

Thanks in advance 😀

just get a slip over job - I have one of these on both of my bikes
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-R1150RT-R1100RT-Slip-Over-Gear-Change-Extender/143032660358

makes the gear changes smother as I am not hitting the point of the shift arm - easy to fit, little bit of silicon paste inside, slip over the rubber. Longer and larger diameter

The sale has ended but the chap will renew the ad when another batch is made - he might include the XR in the listing this time as I let him know it fits fine.
