Bar risers
« on: January 12, 2019, 04:31:12 PM »
Looking for some advise here. I currently have a set of 25mm wunderlich bar risers and am still not happy with the reach. I found MV Motorad has a set that are 30mm higher and 40mm back. Has any one tried these, any feedback?

They also come with a brake line extension.

Look at the Rox Risers. They come in various heights and are infinetly adjustable.

Do you know if I need longer brake lines?

I too am interested in the ROX Adjustable risers.  I was e-mailing with them today and apparently none of their adjustable risers work on the XR without changing cables on both sides, which I understand is a bit of a challenge.  A little disappointing.  They said they considered making a shorter model to fit the XR w/out cable change but did not see the demand in the marketplace...bummer.  Aviator, were you able to get them to work?

Has anyone tried these:

I know, super cheap and your bars are not where you want to go cheap, but I'm looking to pull the bar back without going up so much that the cables/lines need to be changed.  These are the least amount of rise with decent pullback that I've found.  They say model years 14-17 while mine is an '18, but a quick look at realoem shows the same bar and clamping support, top from 5/2014 - 2/2019.  Delivery time is crazy (china special), but hopefully will be worth the wait and not much of a gamble from a cost perspective...

I am 5’8” I think with these new risers my riding position will be perfect. I had a 07 GS and a KTM 950 before, after trying different options I had the riding position perfect.
As for the amazon cheap risers, I wouldn’t trust them.
