I have just got my 2017 matte blue XR...AND IT IS EPIC!!
Only issue I have is I am 5'9'' at a stretch with pit pony legs. The bike has low suspension and low seat which is apparently 790mm but still feels considerably taller than my EX...A Triumph Tiger 800XRT which was 810mm.
Anything above 2mph and all is good in the world!! Just waiting for that first adverse camber stop when I'm not ready!!!

Perhaps high heels would work.
Seriously just a bit of confidence after using the bike a bit. But I do agree the bike is epic and a great choice.

Any help on where I can get colour coded panniers for the matte blue...and why don't BMW make them? Seems odd.

If you search the forum this has been asked before. I think one option was to get them wrapped, but I am sure someone will give you a better answer.......

ASJELM ...I think there is a forum thread on Blue wrap for panniers going on recently may help. Fortunately I am 6ft so no need for high heels but I do find a nice pair of stockings work well in cold weather - just watch the chaffing in the wet
