Do you mean Sport Smarts ? As opposed to Road Smarts.

I think that they are Roadsport 2s. Actually says roadsport 2 on the tyre. Plus they have a different pattern to the sport smarts. Must be a branding difference ?.

On further investigation they are some kind of cheapo mongrel between the Road and Sport i’ve Run my X/R on both the SportSmart front and rear and a distance combo of a SportSmart front and RoadSmart rear and both variations have worked fine for what I wanted.

I’m currently having a love affair with Michelin RS’s on the KTM which are just wonderful how long they will last i’ve No idea but probably not very  :001:

I’ve currently got Roadsmart 3 on the bike (on the recommendation of Mr Winger) - and while they grip well,  I find the bike wandering in a straight line, with not any noticeable (to me at least) benefit in drop-in to bends (albeit - that might be in comparison to worn Roadtec-01)

So - due to the great price of a pair of Roadtec-01 from Openeo, I’ll be bunging them on for this year’s holibags.

Next year - I’ll give Michelin R5s a go  :028:
