Just changed my original tyres - rear shot at about 4400 miles. Replaced with Pilot 5s and whilst the Bridgestones didn't cause me any problems the new Michelins feel so much nicer.

Sorry to be a pedantic ar$e....but there's no such animal as a Pilot 5, they're called Road 5's.

Saw a big retailer is still listing PR2 tyres !     They were pretty cheap - be interesting to see the manufacture date of those.

My ROAD 5's have now done over 1000 miles. Very little sign of wear. Best tyre ever for me - fantastic grip and handling in all conditions.  :305:

What are the Road 5's like when leant over in the wet? Only asking as they look like slicks for the last inch or two on either side of the rear. I'm thinking I will change the Road 5's at next tyre change as the Roadtecs just aren't getting enough miles from them and the fronts wear very unevenly after 3k.

Not tried my R5's at a high bank angle as I dont push that hard in the wet. Michelin say they are good in the wet.  :305:
