Front Brake Pads
« on: April 12, 2019, 04:31:24 PM »
Hi Guys,

My bike is around 16000kms. When I checked the front pads it seems like (I didn't measure but I will) 3mm of friction surface is remaining. On owners manual it says that min thickness is 1mm. I'm leaning on Galfer sintered ones.Did any of you tried these ? Also I can try to squeeze couple of thousand kms with the ones that I have. What do you think ?

I thoroughly recommend the Brembo SC pads. They work well when cold, but have a better initial bite and require just a bit less pressure for the same response. I use these on all my bikes including my '17 GSXR 1000 on track and my NineT that just does back roads <100mph.
