Welcome to the forum!  Good to hear from someone with that many miles on their XR.  It's one hell-uv-a bike!   :305:
Many people ride.....but for a select group of people it's more than a ride....it's one of life's great passions.

Got mine on August 15th. Just passing 5,000 miles including 2 track days with the California Superbike School. Spent the early part of the summer braking in a 2015 Ducati Multistrada which was the worst bike I have owned. Traded it in at a huge $ loss but worth it as the XR is fantastic. Fast, predictable and endlessly fun. Some two-up as an alternative to my 2013 GSA which now seems like a school bus.
I ride with sports bike guys on HP4's, Panagalli's and assorted Aprilia and Ducati. None of them is quicker or more comfortable on the road. Track is not quite the same but tolerable until the skills and toys overwhelm.
Have fun.
