Surely getting their is all part of the journey. So a good trip down to the pyrenees is what helps makes the trip. Unless you are an old fart and its to much for the mind and body.........................:041:

When are you going, Im of to the Picos & Portugal leaving on the 14th, can't wait.

arrive Bilbao on 19th Sept

I did Picos, Asturias and N. Portugal last year. Spain & France this year. Sos del Ray, Sort, Quillan, Pau, Jaca & Rioja

Not strictly a first trip as the previous year 73 I'd ridden a 750 Kawasaki 750 triple from Le-Havre to Rodez which took 16 hours then Le Mans in april of 74 and here we are at Vimoutiers on the way back to Le-Havre when we had been down in Spain great riding e'h  :164:

The tank was dumped by the Germans in 44 and they blew it up has a monumental crack at the rear lay in a ditch for more years than I remember as it was the route to the SoF and Spain the local villagers realised it was a tourist attraction and created a layby and I must have a photo with every bike I've owned bar the SM as its probably worth in the region of a £ million+ wonder how much longer it will be there.
