Steps for Removal & Replacing Left Hand Controls Cluster

I would be grateful for the procedure to do this from anyone who has replaced the left hand multifunction cluster (signal, horn, DRL, susp, abs, lights) or removed it (to perhaps change handlebar, clean, etc). TIA. Bike is a 15/16.

Also in a thread called "different handlebars" SimonUK also very kindly included instructions in that thread for me which may also help you.

Thank you SimonUK & Markymark11 for your responses.
I have pulled back the rubber & removed the screw on the left hand. The heated grip, wonder wheel & MF cluster is now freely sliding & moving, altogether as a unit. Do I need to undo the bar ends and slide all 3 components (heated grip, wonder wheel & MF cluster) out, in order to allow me to remove the MF cluster unit & replace it?

Hi SimonUK, do you have the drawings showing how to split the MF cluster from the wonder wheel. It's somehow clipped/attached to each other and I don't want to break any tabs or wiring! Thanks in advance.

The grip/wheel/cluster should just slide off as a single unit.

I’m trying to replace the cluster. I need to know how to separate it from the wheel.

Hi, did you ever get this sorted? I have a 2016 bike and I have an issue with the multifunction switch/magic wheel. My Nav 5 has started randomly switching screens as if I am using the wheel when I definitely am not. I suspect water has got into the switch so I plan to remove it an look for corrosion. I don't fancy buying a new one as I suspect they are chuffing expensive - though I might have to!
The way to remove the whole unit is clear, its how you then disconnect the wheel and disassemble.
