Not in France - as long as you avoid the "car only" lane. Sensors detect you as a bike and your bill should say Class 5. If it does not it is simple to get the charge changed.

In Spain & Portugal the charges are the same for bikes & cars.

I have an APRR tag. It works in France, Spain & Portugal. http://www.aprr.fr/fr - in French but Chrome translates it enough to use. Everything is online and easy to navigate. Register your vehicle for Portugal as they use ANPR not the TAG.

I’m right in thinking you still stop at the machine, so you get a chance to check that it is registering/charging for Class 5?  Never used the tag, but got one for next year - totally fed up with fishing for credit card/change, and the struggle to get fingers back in to wet gloves.

To that end - I’ve retired my rev-it ‘waterproof’ gloves , and bought a pair of Held Goretex gloves.   All nicely softened up with Leather balm for next year  :028:

So I put off getting a new pair of gloves until after Christmas as funds were tight. Good job I did as the Mrs had only gone and bought me the Held Air and Dry gloves I was going to get. She is either genius or has looked through my search history :005: good job she has similar taste in porn to me too :008: :008:

You didn't specify summer / winter gloves ( or maybe i missed something )

Have a look to the brand " FIVE Gloves " . Got some winter gore tex + leather gloves for around 130€ if i remember well . Great confort (inside linning is fluffy) , and you still feel your levers using them !
Waterproofness Tested and approved !  :745:

I have this model : " WFX SKIN MINUS ZERO GTX "
