Nicely done!  Great video.  I am looking to do a similar trip in the near future with my XR.  Can you please tell me, did you need the rotopax, and how did you mount it (i.e., did it go easily onto the BMW rack)?  Will likely do something similar for my trip.

Hi, thanks for the nice comments!
I only used the rotopax once from coldfoot to prudhoe is about 242 miles, so a full tank of fuel in coldfoot plus the 7.5 litre rotopax was just enough (not much left to spare, the fuel light was on for last 10 miles!).

To mount the rotopax I had to buy an Altrider bracket that sits on top of the BMW rack plus the mounts to hold the rotopax in place (not cheap!)  Also would have been nicer to have it mounted lower on the bike as when the rotopax was full you could really feel the extra weight!
