Hi Guys, Hope its okay to post this here, I couldn't see a travel section.

I recently flew my S1000XR to Canada from London and rode through Canada and all the way up the Ice Truckers road to Prudhoe bay and then back into Canada through the Rockies and then flew it back to London and rode home to Scotland!  Me and my girlfriend completed 7200 Miles in 3 1/2 weeks and we made a video which I hope is okay to share!

A very versatile bike but defo needs a comfier seat and taller screen for furtue trips!

Very nicely done. It makes a difference having a drone included. Terrific video.

Bike cleaned up pretty good, apart from some of the black plastics have light staining (I believe from the chemicals they use to make the road).  I power washed the bike down as soon as I got back to fairbanks, considering what its been through tho it still looks in great condition!

Cheers

Been there done that! and you have a very good eye for an artistic manner in your presentation!
OTOH, I would be suspicious of bike's condition after such punishment.  The Dalton has tons of calcium chloride added to it.  This helps keep the dust down and surface good for the trucks.  It is quite caustic to the bike, bearings, rotors, brake pads and everything that is exposed and some that isn't.  Be careful if leaving on another long 2-up trip.
Thanks for the great video.  :001:
