Had a look at M&P prices for RS, and got £230 the pair.

Anywhere cheaper to tempt me?   :027:

Oponeo RS Power £206 Road 5 rear £126.

Prices are all over the place not just now but for the last 6 months(at least) bought a pair of RS last May £200(All Tyre 365) couple of days later they were £245,checked around Monday and prices had dropped so i’m Just stocking up for next year.

Yes Smithy I do listen to you  :001: having done the same with Dunlop’s.

Thanks for that.  :028:

In two minds about switching to RS fronts/Road5 rears - Already got a spare pair of Roadtec-01 and like having tyres that can clear a bit of water if needed.

I know they will probably never be as cheap again, though.

Me too when M&P had that deal on with the Optimate 4 as well for £230,i’ve Got some some really contacts in the bike trade but non of them can match the big hitters when it comes to tyres and I buy stuff when it’s the right price rather than when I need them cuz they always cost more!!!

TBH, I've not had the Road 5 on the front, only the RS front with the Road 5 rear.....I prefer a little better front grip and the front and rear seem to be wearing 1:1 rather than the usual 1 rear to 1-1/2 or fronts.

I did have RS front and rear at one stage and they have more grip than I have riding ability  :034: unfortunately the rear RS got badly punctured so I replaced it with a Road 5. I understand from other riders that the Road 5 front is very good as well....but I have no personal experience.

Smithy.
