He will get a great deal on them, I suspect? 

I have never heard of anyone sticking up for them, whereas the T31 appears to be a great tyre.

Had my 2016 from new and bought as a tourer, tyre conclusion is i ride two up,mostly luggaged up 90% of the time.Previous bikes always two rears to a front, however,Xr ownership = pair every 3-3.5k justifiable for the grin factor alone.
