I am looking to attach a 30ltr tail pack for long weekend stop overs. Looked at Kriega, Bags Connection etc as I hate the hard luggage and crap looking scaffolding hanging under the seat. Anyone got any suggestions that look good and are practical. I know that Blaze Panniers are made specifically but would prefer a tail pack system?

Have you considered VENTURA luggage systems  the New Zealand company items for tail pack systems
they easily bolt on and off the bike in less than 15 Minutes . I've had many before and they are not expensive compared to many others  .. check out this site  https://www.ventura-bike.com/product/bmw/S-1000-XR
good luck with you searching
