Oil hose help please
« on: March 26, 2020, 02:16:37 PM »
Hi Guys,

Noticed a slight oil leak on my XR that is coming from the near-side oil cooler pipe, however can't find the part number for the pipe anywhere.

Perhaps there's some kind person out there who has access to the part number for the hose that uses the o-ring with part number 17227680667. Hopefully evident which pipe from the diagram at https://partsss.com/en/bmw/spareparts/models-s/s1000xr/s1000xr-k49/oil-cooler/pid364616.html

thanks  :440:

I do not think there is a part # just for the hose. If it anything like the new RR released that had issues with the clamping, you have to buy the whole oil cooler!  :005:

Thanks for the replies guys.

Tried suggested and other places, and appears you're correct that you need to buy the whole assembly.

Bit of Dremel work and a spare hose has been employed - will know when I finish breaking bits, and get the bike back together if it works.

Appreciated, cheers.
