Yes, you can tell the difference between the HP high and standard HP seat.  On the HP standard height seat, the stitching on the top if the pillion portion of the seat goes all the way to the back of the seat, while on the high seat, it circles around behind the driver portion of the seat.  You can just see on mine above that the stitching circles around behind the driver and does not continue to the back of the seat.

See below, this is the high seat:

This is the standard height HP seat:

Here you go, Lee.

This is the HP high seat with the grommets in their high setting.  Hope this helps.

That’s great thanks , that’s told me I have the standard seat on mine. Does anybody know if the high seat is any more comfortable than the standard ( both HP ) ?

The high seat definitely has more padding (I believe that's where most of the add'l height comes from.)  From my limited experience with the standard height HP seat (20 min test ride), the high seat is more comfortable and has less slide toward the tank.

Hi,

If you have a UK distributor, Wunderlich also sells these, at a higher price though:

All the best,

If I was to use the lowering kit, would that increase the slide towards the tank? I'm on tip toes and would like that to lower it slightly without causing any imbalance anywhere else 👍

If you are talking about the bike's lowering kit (suspension ie: soupy's), no that would have no impact on slide toward the tank.  If you are talking about the seat lowering bushings/grommets, yes I believe that would increase the slide toward the tank.  That's why I use the bushings/grommets in their tall/up position to reduce the slide forward.

Ya thanks it's the grommets I was talking about 👍
Probably leave well enough alone or look at a low seat and then heighten that with the lowering grommets 👍
Thanks
