HP Seat
« on: February 10, 2016, 10:37:52 AM »
Hi
Is there anyone one down Hampshire way that has a standard HP seat that I could borrow for 10 minutes to try out...just want to make sure it fits me nicely and is worth the wad?  :440:  Thanks in advance.

Sorry unable to help - although Mike at Bahnstormer tried to sell me one on Saturday !  I've spent all my money on ferry tickets for 2 tours this year so it will have to wait.  I sat on one at the NEC and thought it very comfortable, and it looks great.

I think RichS1000XR has an HP seat and he is just up the road in Surrey - he may be able to help.

10-15 quid off I think.  But he's probably open to a bit of bartering, especially as you bought the bike there!

And for anyone else reading this before buying a bike I ordered the HP high seat from scratch and I got an allowance on the stocker.

I'm in Camberley, and you can borrow mine if you want. IIRC, Bahnstormer run the HP seat on their demo bike though.

So Binky, what did you think? Is the price worth it? Is it more comfortable than the standard seat? Asking as I'm about to take the plunge and buy one.

Many thanks, Al
