PC5 question
« on: June 05, 2020, 06:35:17 PM »
Hi all,

I am contemplating going down the decat route.
I am thinking of going down the Arrow header route. Akra's are too expensive.
Is there any variations between the euro 3 arrows and the euro 4 arrows.
The reason I am asking this bizarre question is because when I looked on the UK dynojet website looking for the price of the PC5 I noticed a note.
This is said note:- 2017-2018 Model require two O2 Controller (Part number: 76125078) Sold Separately.

I can not find this part number for sale on the UK site.
However I have found this for sale in an Italian site.
Also I have no idea what a O2 controller is it what it does.

If I buy a Euro 3 set of arrows (if there are 2 variants) would I need this extra farkly thingy.

Can anyone enlighten me or offer another route to go down.

Thanks all,
A confused yorkshirebiker.

Too try and keep the answer as short as pos,i’d Just be buying Arrow headers 3/4 just PRBS from Arrow,re Dynojet UK looks the same as when I bought mine, all you need is a PC5 it will fit anything from 15 to 19.

That’s the easy bit, getting the headers off is a real MF so if your a mechanical numbty don’t even think about it,fitting the PC is straight forward just a case of lifting the tank and plugging everything in,most suppliers will blow a map in just too get you started and then it needs to go to a dyno.

All of the above is time and money but blimey there’s another bike inside your stock X/R,the TUV via BMW are determined that most folk will never experience it but you’ll be glad you did, mine is an absolutely world away from the bog stock bike I bought new in 16 i’m Very happy too say, hence when I see posts about the new model!!! Just another TUV strangled bike.

Hey guys, I have a question regarding PC5. I have akra headers with standard can. I am going down the road of a fuelling module as the bike is quite snatchy at lower revs around town and when tootling 2up.  I am wanting to use a PC and my tuner is trying to find out if O2 sensors can be deleted, otherwise it would not be as beneficial as the Rapidbike evo. Thanks.

PC deletes the lamba’s/O2’s internally regardless, it’s all part of the learning curve....it’s only then you realise lamba’s Sensors are about keeping the world green but the PR con’s us into thinking it about performance which is just BS.
