Greetings and Thanks for having me in your forum.

Name is Jon, and I've got a Ocean Blue 2018 XR that I bought as a leftover in February of last year. My 1150GS that I bought new in '03 needed something to keep it coming in the garage, and wanted something that had similar riding position but was otherwise radically different.  Been riding forever, but this is my first "fast" bike.  First 7k miles have been a lot of fun, although I'm still concerned I may be too dumb to have something this fast.  Thanks again.

welcome, i'm also new

If you think its too fast for you, sounds like you have some respect for it. If you respect it, i think you are far less likely to have a indecent.
