question to all with soupys

do you adjust your chain to factory lowered specs,or normal specs.i was thinking 45mm

45mm is still within the factory specs. Always use the factory specs.....the swing arm is still the same length and the arc is still the same, it just starts in a slightly different spot.

Seeing that it starts at a different spot - that's where it gets adjusted. If the stock (lower) position chain spec is used, you could be too slack at 45mm.
I can't say that for sure, just seems likely.
Edit: Unless 45mm is the spec for the lowered bike.

hi,thanks for the replies,fact low spec is 35-45mm,reg spec 45-50mm.factory low spec takes seat height to 790cm,ive lowered my bike by 25mm taking my seat height to around 815cm,so i was thinking around 45mm of play to be near enough,i just wondered what other people that had lowered by 25mm were doing

Yep 45mm will get you out of trouble. I lowered mine by 20mm and always use 45mm, no issues after 32k km.
