Just for the record, I've never had any issue with leaving my helmet on - Full visor Shoei GT Air.   Clearly not too concerned about my age. Perhaps the hunch back and shuffle give me away/

As I have a flip front helmet, in normal circumstances I would just flip my lid (so to speak). But under current circumstances, and as I am not wearing a neck tube, I have been taking my helmet off and putting on a mask. When it gets a bit cooler will just be able to flip up the front and pull up the neck tube.

I know someone who uses there helmet as a mask,wearing it while doing the shopping when not on the bike!
Tesco are the only supermarket whos refused him entry to  date.
