Hi from Slovenia
« on: February 27, 2016, 06:11:00 PM »
Hello to everyone from Maribor, Slovenia. I sold my 2008 FZ1 Fazer a couple of days ago and ordered yesterday the XR. Now the wait until end of March will take some time ;-)
Already found some infos on the forum and hope to find some more soon.

Hi vuk
You live in a beautiful country. Or at least the northwestern part is. Only been around Lake Bled, where I had a final drive failure on my GSA  :230:, and twice in the last couple of years I've tried to get up the Mangart road without success. But hopefully I'll be back in 2017.

Good luck with the XR

Hi, tnx. I think that Mangart will be again open in the summer. Did you try the Vrsic Pass. It is also nice. If you come back in 2017 and need some Infos about good roads let me know and I can surely give you a hint or two...

Nope. But it was on the list if the bike hadn't caused trouble. Had to take the short route back to Villach to get it fixed.
I definitely will hit you up for info, thanks

Nice white bike  :028:
And plenty of bling. You'll fit in well here...

One question - have you fitted bigger handguards ? If so, which ones ?
