Lowered XR
« on: August 22, 2020, 09:15:59 PM »
Had my XR lowered at Cymarc Engineering today.  I have to say what a pleasure it was dealing with Mark, excellent professional service and well worth the 230 mile round trip despite the awful weather.  Quality engineering and installation. A couple of observations following the ride home:

1. I can now get my feet comfortably on the ground  :152:
2. Ride, handling and steering are unaffected.
3. The bike sits better on the side stand, the standard lean angle was a little unnerving especially on uneven ground.
4. The centre stand is totally usable.
5. The riding position is more comfortable i.e. not pushing me towards the tank as much.

Excellent product and service.

Cheers Mark

Me too! Best thing I did, to me the bike feels more planted now!  :305:
