I find it strange no other chain manufacturer has applied this.  It's a fairly well known surface treatment. You would expect a lower friction implies a bit more power, and thus GP bikes would benefit. Yet it is BMW/Regina  that promotes this for street bikes. Also for wear, no-one does 30.000 kms  with tires. So wheel comes out many times , chain needs to be to set  as many times.

To be charged £100 for them to call a decent chain an upgrade item is billshut.
I agree 100% with this comment. The chains Bmw have fitted appear to have the corrosion resistance of untreated mild steel. I wish I could have specified the subject chain when I ordered mine.
