Yet Another Seat
« on: August 28, 2020, 12:39:59 PM »
As I've said many times the stock seat was a 'No Goer' right from day one so never had it, came with the BM high seat its been OK but always felt at 6ft and 32" inside leg I'd prefer less cramped legs and I like to sit on a bike not in it, bought a Wunderlich and didn't like that and months ago bought another and just never around to trying it till last Wednesday did a tad short of 200 miles two up so it worked for both of us, it is high but one of those Eureka parts of the jigsaw puzzle I've been looking for.

Another Wunderlich seat?

Are Wunderlichs still made by Kahedo (along with Touratech)?

No, just a custom seat made by who knows...but it’s nothing short of a transformation, certainly not for everyone not by a long chalk, when we got home my other half’s comment ‘Fallen back in love it have we’  :001: that’s the X/R because other bikes have been getting the TLC

On a previous bike that had a totally unbearable saddle I had Seth Laam rework it.
There was a telephone conversation where Seth asked what was uncomfortable about the current seat and where.
What was then delivered was a well sculptured masterpiece that 100% worked.

You have to send Seth your seat to use.  I am in the UK so shipping my seat to him was not cost effective, so I bought a used one on USA eBay and had that delivered to Seth, who then posted it to me in the UK when done.

There is usually a waiting list, but there's a reason for that.
