Puig Touring screen
« on: March 12, 2016, 06:09:00 PM »
As a short arse i could not get out of the turbulence with the stock item ( i don't mind wind) so I bought a Puig touring screen in black  the Puig is a bit taller and more sculpted and although not quite as good looking as the stock does a much better job. 3 figure speeds with the visor up are no problems. zero turbulence so I am a happy chap

Have you got a pic please,I got the MRA touring and don't like the look of it and with wearing a peaked helmet I dont find it so good.
Coming from a GSA I always got on with the standard screens from the aircooled to the new LC

Mick

I've just installed the Puig screen (light tint)and to be honest I'm not a fan. Was going to get the MRA next.

How about we do a swap :002:

Hi Redrick
It looks good in dark tint, whats the size compared to the original.? is it any wider.? imho some of these aftermarket screens look stupid (top hats).

HarryH
thanks for the offer but not just yet as I want to get a few more miles uder the belt to see exactly where my buffeting is coming from.

Hi, am tall so always adding screen height to my bikes. Bought a powerbronze first, that was a slight improvement, now fitted a puig, its taller and wider and makes riding far more comfortable. Due to our badly potholed roads got a light tint so I can see all the road.  :305:

I got one, ordered 24th September got about 4/5th October. Tried it on Saturday and it won't fit. Clutch side he a 5 mm space over fairing and throttle side sits on fairing in low set up. Contacted Powermint.de were it came from, bought Amazon. Too late to send back so am in dispute at moment and don't know what it looks like but I see from above post it looks good. What is the best option for a 5'8" lad?
