Disc Bolts

Hi guys just cleaned xr 2017 and noticed front disc's move slightly on mounting bolts is this normal. also sign's of slight rust around bolts are they just steel bolts and can you get stainless.

Yes, the rotors should move a little in the bobbins, but the bobbins should be tight under the bolts.

Thats good then thought i had a problem, just come back from scotland rained all week and disc's slightly rusting around mounting bolts is there anything i can do to stop discs rusting.

Don't ride in the rain..!  :038: We don't get that issue here in Aus, they don't throw salt everywhere to keep the snow/ice down either. Where I live we rarely see temps below 10C, even in the middle of winter.

Here in the uk you get a lot more rain than sunshine.

Rub some engine oil carefully on the bolts  :305:

I use ACF-50 on mine when it gets a wash...seems to be good shite..! :028:
