Loving it so far, a bit top heavy from my old S1KR but a much nicer ride. Trying it with Mrs Shunt on the back later, it's a tighter squeeze in the garage too.

Like your side stand extension... :008:

Smithy.
When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my Grandfather....not screaming like the passengers in his car..!

Me too, but it must make veering to the left quite a serious issue!

That side stand is the only thing I don't like, why would they have designed it to be so short?

Amazingly Mrs Shunt really enjoyed her first trip out, thats taken 10 years but none of my old bikes have been ideal for a pillion. She wants to go out again today. Oops I might have f**ked up.

You would have more room - if you got rid of that red R1200GS  :745:

Your garage floor isn't smooth enough, but a sheet of ply and a centre-stand trolley could be useful for that area.

😂 The red GS is good for doing the lawn but not much fun and you wouldn't want to go too far on it! Good shout on the trolley thing.

you may have to remove the passenger pegs, and just come with some BS about them being loaners or something!

I have an R1200 RS in addition to my XR.  The side stand on the RS is too long, the bike sits almost straight up, modifications are to shorten it!  And then there is the XR, the side stand is too short!  Who designs these things?  He hasn't gotten fired yet!
