« on: October 11, 2020, 09:18:43 AM »
Hi all,

Soon I will buy a XR from 2017 that was imported from the UK.
Anybody knows this bike and can tell me anything about it?

Registration in the UK was RA66XAT.

Be careful, UK bikes are designed to be driven on the left side of the road.

https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/ shows it passed the MOT safety test in Jan 2020. Mileage at that time was recorded as 14537. MOT is an annual test once a bike or car is 3 years old.

This is a useful way to check mileage history for any UK bike over 3 years old. Obviously, if the bike is now showing fewer miles, run away, quickly.

Thnx.
Looked at the MOT and the service in April. Andthe current miles.
All makes sense.

Do have to make sure to tell the bike to run on the right side 😉
That's the thing that I have to get adjusted to the most, steering on the other side of the bike 😅
