It was the mini, which is why it was annoying, it should have worked.

Like I said, I tried a replacement but the result was identical. :006:

I tried mine out this afternoon. I could hear with ear plugs in and going at a fair speed. I'm well impressed with it.

Thanks for the heads up, agree the standard is pathetic, just ordered one - £38 with the lead.

Yep golden rule....always read all of the thread :164:, horn turns up 2 days ago take the old one off look at the electrical connection....Eeee Eawww the lead is due tomorrow  :821:

Said wiring turned up today, couple minutes to fit....but....maybe I have a good OE, as my wife said as the the independent observer....you wouldn’t want to live on to difference, although the tone is a lot deeper than the OE.

I fitted the Split Bomb to my XR - definite improvement over stock(but this one probably trips the 'fuse' if wired direct to the OEM horn connection)

I may have to get myself one of those. I never use the horn as it sounds so pathetic. Don’t know why bikes come with such sh*t horns as standard.
