Another convert
« on: April 02, 2016, 11:02:06 PM »
Just picked up my XR yesterday.  I traded in my twin cam GS and I just love the XR.  Even though the revs are limited until the first service this thing will get me into serious trouble.  I'm like a stupid teenager again and loving it.  Sheer speed just for the sake of it... great... I didn't want to grow up anyway.  Without doubt the best bike I have ever ridden.

I'll go and lie down now.

Tom

It does feel mad.  How do you all keep your licenses?

I thought my SP1 was fast the XR just blitzes it.  So much usable power or you can stick it 6th and poodle about like an old fart. Amazing! :008:

Nearly got pulled two up yesterday but I saw the blues and twos in the distance in my mirrors having pulled out pro-actively from a junction, I slowed down, they pulled in behind me (lights off now) for about 2 miles and were unable to register a naughty speed.

Easy to do though .........

Naughty boys  :192:

I would never do anything like that  :164:

Had a similar thing yesterday riding with my brother.  Both pulled the teleport lever then spotted the jam sandwich about 6 cars back.

Thank god my Brother spotted him as I was doing about 13.5 mph move the point as you see fit  :038:

Cant help it the damn thing is going to get me into trouble.

Imagine what it feels like after a pre-twin cam GSA  :156:
But I ride mainly minor roads so should keep the licence a bit longer...
