Front mudguard extender on 2020 XR
« on: November 08, 2020, 03:55:17 PM »
I have a factory lowered 2020 TE version and have heard that fitting an extender to front mudgiard might cause issues if hard braking is used due to more limited clearance between wheel and front end. Also I have carbon pack and mudguard looks very short so and looking to protect the water and oil cooler from stone damage etc. Fitting guards will reduce even further the clearance. Any thoughts?

I've got the BMW radiator and oil cooler guards and a Pyramid Plastics fender extender on.  I've raised the forks through the clamps by 10mm and I've got no clearance problems.
