Given this bike is also intended as a tourer that can scratch a bit, I wondered what AV MPG you guys are getting under what riding circumstances.

Albeit a tight engine but mine currently says 43mpg on the computer.....will it improve as I intend to do some big miles this year and it looks like I will be filling up a lot more than on the GS.  Small price to pay of course, as its so much fun.

I haven't worked out the mpg, but I've had as little as 130 miles out of a tank when constantly spanking it, and as many as 190 if showing restraint. 170 miles seems to be about the average range. I never ride on dual carriageways or motorways, so YMMV.

Took in 160 mainly motorway miles yesterday (varying speeds up to 85 ish) and there was about two litres left when I got back......and that's running the bike in so fairly restrained.  Might need to try 98 RON that usually gives 10 percent more range on previous bikes.

I'm about 140 to the light then another 40ish so 180 range being good.  When the devil is whispering 140 almost dry and when in Germany just over 120 miles had to fill up before I got to next stop on the B312 and A7 between Rottenburg and Shwangau.

When I was running in did get over 200 miles on one tank but she is not meant for that.
