Have any 2020 Gen 2 owners fitted a Denali Split SoundBomb? The brackets are advertised as fitting XRs upto 2019, but if what is under those side panels hasn't changed, as in the bracket mounting points and there is still the space, a Gen 2 mount should be possible? I've emailed Denali but they don't reply  :027:

Gen-1 and Gen-2 are completely different bikes, different engine, different chassis/frame, so the chances of the horn mount being the same are pretty slim.

You will easily fit a sound bomb, i fitted one very discreetly on a Triumph street triple, I did use the split version which makes fitting more versatile. After spending a lot of effort to hide everything away neatly the unit failed after 3 weeks , it be cane ever less present until I used it in anger on a roundabout and all it produced was a squeak . So it was returned to SBS for a full refund and replaced with the soundbomb mini ,which in my opinion is nearly as loud ,certainly more immediate , half the price and it's a direct swap withe the OEM unit.

Sounds encouraging then. Was that using the same two brackets (below) as advertised for fitting on the Gen 1s?

Nippy Normans are telling me those brackets won't fit. Ahh... :006:
